Lovely bit of animation to start with.
Dudley's in a mysterious flute mood.
Gan's seems to be a bit spacesick.
Blake recaps the last episode, supposedly for Avon's benefit.
Avon's suitably impressed: "Well?"
The space lurgy must be bad; even Avon's feeling dizzy.
Now Jenna's feeling shit too. Cally helps her to her cabin.
Cally's figured out that everyone that went down to Cephlon's absorbed too much radiation & needs treatment.
Blake hopes that when they reach Ensor senior on Aristo they can trade the energy cells for some radiation treatment.
Down on Aristo, old man Ensor feeds his fish, waters his plants, and tests the energy levels on his pacemaker.
Love old man Ensor's mechanical bird, reminds me of Bubo in Clash of the Titans.
Wonder who these "Phibians" are...?
Travis and Servalan are already on Aristo. Quite a few scratches on this film footage.
Servalan's brought a handy OS map to show the way to Ensor's place.
Avon has heard of old man Ensor; most computer technology of their age is based on his inventions and designs.
As the Liberator arrives at Aristo, Zen warns them that an exploratory mission was never heard from again...
The Liberator goes into orbit, but Zen has some sort of wobbler... and is apparently taken over by none other than Orac.
Orac is still hacking their computers, even though Zen's back, setting the teleport co-ordinates.
Blake and Cally go down to the beach while the sickies stay on the Liberator.
They're stuck there till they can make contact with Ensor, though, as they're trapped behind a forcefield.
Servalan and Travis hear something nasty in the waterlogged tunnels.
Servalan is attacked by a spiny scaly thing - presumably a "Phibian".
Think we know what happened to that missing expedition.
A flying security monitor bot arrives and forces Blake and Cally to disarm.
Jenna's getting anxious about the radio silence; Gan's having a moan on the floor. Avon gets his head down.
Blake and Cally make it to old man Ensor, who thinks one of them is the surgeon he was expecting.
They have to break it to him that his son didn't make it.
Ensor has a whole cabinet full of drugs ("Help yourself!"). Yeah, he looks the type.
Ensor agrees to travel up to the Liberator, but almost forgets about Orac.
Orac is "a brain" that can access all knowledge in all computers, everywhere. So basically the internet.
Servalan and Travis are still in the tunnels, have caught up with them now.
"I disapprove of weapons."
"So do I, though I disapprove of dying more."
Blake, Cally & Ensor have made it away with Orac.
Servalan works out that she & Travis can head them off.
Avon feels crap, so rings Vila to make sure he's feeling crap too.
Avon & Vila muster their remaining strength to teleport to Blake & Cally's aid.
Vila puts his foot in it.
Unlike Servalan, Cally doesn't take any crap from the Phibian. Nails.
They're too late to save Ensor though. That's two Ensor's they've lost. To lose two looks like carelessness...
They make it to the surface, only to find themselves at the mercy of Servalan and Travis.
Avon arrives and blows off Travis' laser hand.
"Good shot, Avon!"
"I was aiming for his head."
Quality Avon-ing, there.
On the Liberator...
Blake's 7 fire up their prize, but Orac isn't quite as user-friendly as Zen...
Orac turns on the "charm", much to Avon's amusement.
Blake wants to test Orac's limits and gets him to switch to crystal ball mode.
Orac predicts the destruction of the Liberator...
Avon chucks away Orac's on switch, but the future has already been predicted!
So that's all for Series A of Blake's 7, with an intriguing prediction of what's to come next series...
TTFN! K.
Coming Soon... Marco Polo
