Panel 1.
A long, wide establishing shot of a South-American style square topped pyramid, deep in an alien jungle, as two suns rise in the sky.
CAPTION: The planet Huntress IV, the 26th century.
Panel 2.
A darkened chamber in the catacombs beneath the pyramid, illuminated by flickering torches. Two silhouetted figures stand in an elaborate stone archway. This is Professor Bernice Summerfield and her guide, a dishevelled looking reptilian local.
BENNY: Hellooo! Is there anybody in here?
GUIDE: No living soul has set foot in the Empress' tomb for nearly six thousand years, Professor.
Panel 3.
Closer shot of Benny holding a lamp up to some hieroglyphs.
BENNY: It's not the living that I'm worried about.
There's a noise behind her.
BENNY: What was that?
Panel 4.
The guide is sweating with terror and makes to leave.
GUIDE: We've been followed! I am sorry, Professor. I cannot stay! I cannot go back to that prison - the creatures in the salt mine!
BENNY: Well, you can't very well go back, can you? Whatever-it-is is behind us. Besides...
Panel 5.
Benny heads into the next chamber, which contains six alcoves, three on either side.
BENNY: ...I want to see what's through here.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
PAGE TWO
Panel 1.
The first alcove contains a cobwebbed skeletal mummy. The second is empty.
Panel 2.
By the light of the torch, Benny sees a silver boot sticking out of the furthest alcove.
Panel 3. (Title Splash)
Kroton, the Cyberman with a soul, looms out of the darkness at Benny, his pose an echo of The Tomb of the Cybermen.
KROTON: Boo!
Panel 4.
Benny reacts spikily; Kroton looks crestfallen.
BENNY: Hell's teeth, Kroton! Stop mucking about!
KROTON: Just trying to lighten the mood a bit.
BENNY: Well don't! You've scared the guide off now!
KROTON: Sorry.
Panel 5.
They continue into the next chamber, Benny leading the way.
BENNY: You know, Kroton, you're a lot less predicatable than your common or garden Cyberman.
KROTON: I've been around the block. You pick up a few tricks.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PAGE THREE
Benny sweeps aside more cobwebs.
BENNY: Like I said, any friend of the Doctor's... but if you could see your way to knocking the practical jokes on the head...
KROTON: I'll try. No promises.
BENNY: He said you just got back from another dimension. Get a bit boring, did it?
Panel 2.
We see Kroton, and behind him the swirling multitudes of the infinite universe.
KROTON: On the contrary, it was... awe-inspiring. Humbling. And it wasn't "another dimension." It was every dimension, or rather, the hub at the centre of all the dimensions, the eye of the storm, the living heart of the universal spectrum.
Panel 3.
They cross a precarious-looking bridge.
BENNY: "The Glory"?
KROTON: Indeed.
BENNY: And you got... turfed out? By some sort of... intergalactic squatter?
KROTON: Something like that, I suppose.
Panel 4.
At another decorated wall, Kroton runs his fingers over the crumbling stone.
KROTON: Everything is so... singular, and certain, so set in stone. There's something comforting about the uniformity of it all, actually.
Panel 5.
FLASHBACK: Kroton, curled up at the centre of a huge crater:
KROTON (Caption): When I first returned, it felt like I'd been blindfolded, handcuffed and locked in a box. It took a while before the scale of things made any sense.
Panel 6.
FLASHBACK: The TARDIS in space, the Doctor at the console, and Kroton sat with his legs dangling out of the open doors.
KROTON (Caption): Being in the TARDIS helped. The relative dimensions, I guess. He showed me this universe. All its' beauty and horror, it's vast expanses and infinitesimal minutiae.
Panel 7.
FLASHBACK: Kroton sat beneath a tree by a stone archway on a hillside.
KROTON (Caption): He gave me peace at the Eye of Orion... and then he gave me my quest.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PAGE FOUR
Panel 1.
Frobisher is dressed in his Bogart-style private eye outfit, and is creeping around the large wooden crates of a dock, next to a warehouse with a large billboard that gives the name of the company as Titan Enterprises.
FROBISHER (Caption 1): Everyone in town knows that Titan Enterprises is just a front for the Iron Claw’s gun running operation…
FROBISHER (Caption 2): But they also know that you don’t bite the hand that feeds you.
Panel 2.
Frobisher peers around the corner of a stack of crates at the entrance to the warehouse, where a group of workers are wheeling Titan crates onto a ship moored nearby, and picks up a crowbar.
FROBISHER (Caption 1): I guess that means that when times are hard you don’t question where your extra value meals are coming from, or what’s going in them…
FROBISHER (Caption 2): But let’s just say that there’s a lot less of the Iron Claw’s competitors about these days and not so many people going hungry, if you catch my drift...
Panel 3.
Frobisher is now inside the warehouse, and working at one of the crates with his crowbar.
FROBISHER (Caption 1): Me, I reckon that in a belt-tightening climate, people go back to basics, stick to what they’re good at.
FROBISHER (Caption 2): And I don’t reckon the Iron Claw to be any different.
Panel 4.
The crate pops open, revealing what looks like a Dalek, but this is not the version we are used to, it’s more like something half-remembered, a best guess, that looks just a little more like a tank than a true Dalek.
FROBISHER (Caption 1): And what the Iron Claw is good at is things that go boom.
FROBISHER (Caption 2): Guns, grenades, mines… and just lately…
FROBISHER (Caption 3): Tanks. Made to order, one-man battle armour with enough firepower to level a city.
Panel 5.
A wider shot, showing how many of the crated proto-Daleks are stacked all around him.
FROBISHER (Caption 1): Question is… who’s buying? Who needs that kind of firepower, and what for?
FROBISHER (Caption 2): Naturally, these are the questions that the Iron Claw would rather no one asked, and to be fair, yours truly is pretty much the only one asking...
FROBISHER (Caption 3): I guess everyone else is too scared, or too smart.
Panel 6.
Frobisher makes his getaway.
FROBISHER (Caption 1): There’s more than one way to fry a Gumblejack, though.
FROBISHER (Caption 2): Sometimes you’ve just got to know what the right question is, when to ask it, and of course...
FROBISHER (Caption 3): Who to ask.
Panel 7.
Frobisher stands on a rainy street outside the Town Hall.
FROBISHER (Caption 1): The Mayor of Chikkarro City ain’t really the Mayor any more.
FROBISHER (Caption 2): But he’s still got a Mayor’s connections, so he’s as good a place to start as any.
Panel 8.
High wide shot as Frobisher enters the long room of the Mayor’s office and approaches the man sat at the desk.
FROBISHER (Caption 1): And all I need is a name.
FROBISHER (Caption 2): Once I know the name, I’ll know the reason...
FROBISHER (Caption 3): And then I’ll know if the Doctor is right.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PAGE FIVE
Panel 1.
Frobisher sits in front of the visibly sweating Mayor.
FROBISHER (Caption 1): He’s tight-lipped on that score, and I’m not really surprised.
FROBISHER (Caption 2): The only thing he’ll tell me is that asking that question is a death sentence for us both.
Panel 2.
Frobisher watches as the Mayor stares, terrified out of the window at a silhouetted figure on the rooftop of the opposite building.
FROBISHER (Caption 1): And that’s when I realize the mistake that I’ve made...
FROBISHER (Caption 2): The thing that I’d forgotten to take into account.
FROBISHER (Caption 3): You see, the Iron Claw is the brains…
Panel 3.
The giant, hulking figure of the Last Kaled smashes through the window and lands in the centre of the room.
FROBISHER (Caption 1): Now here comes the brawn.
FROBISHER (Caption 2): The Big K.
FROBISHER (Caption 3): The enforcer.
Panel 4.
Frobisher makes a dash for it as the Last Kaled picks up the Mayor by his head.
FROBISHER (Caption 1): The Mayor doesn’t last five seconds.
FROBISHER (Caption 2): I try to get away, but that monster is unstoppable…
FROBISHER (Caption 3): I haven’t really got a Speelsnape’s chance in hell.
Panel 5.
The Last Kaled grabs Frobisher with one hand and raises his other fist...
FROBISHER (Caption 1): Sure enough, he catches up with me.
Panel 6.
Nothing – solid black panel.
FROBISHER (Caption 1): And darkness falls.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PAGE SIX
Panel 1.
(Back to the Catacombs now) Benny steps on a loose stone that will trigger a trap...
BENNY: And how did he seem to you?
Panel 2.
Kroton pulls Benny back as poisoned darts shoot out of the wall.
BENNY: Sugar! Posioned darts! Now that’s old school!
KROTON: This tomb's playing all the old hits!
Panel 3.
Their backs to us as they enter the next chamber.
BENNY: So, the Doctor...
KROTON: Different. Oh he was always caught in a whirlwind of adventure, but his was the calm before the storm. He has stared into a great abyss since we last met. In truth... I don't know who he is anymore...
Panel 4.
FLASHBACK: Benny at an excavation, crouching down, and viewed between the lower legs of Fey and the Doctor.
BENNY (Caption): I know what you mean. He barely spoke two words to me, barely even looked at me. He just let that creepy Fey woman do the talking for him.
Panel 5.
FLASHBACK: Fey Truscott-Sade, the Nazi-hunting MI6 spy who shares her consciousness and body with the Matrix Agent, Shayde, carrying Kroton from the crater seen on Page Four.
KROTON (Caption): I remember now. Fey. Shayde. Feyde. She - they - caught me when I fell... carried me to the TARDIS.
Panel 6.
In the catacombs.
BENNY: You know, after she'd finished chatting me up and given me the bad news... I don't know, I could see it in her eyes. She does what he asks, but she disapproves.
KROTON: She obviously knows more than we do.
BENNY: Damn straight. And I don't like it, not one bit. I don't know her, but if the Doctor trusts her that much, then I trust her too. And if she disapproves of what he's doing...
Panel 7.
Kroton looking ominous.
KROTON: We're on the same page, Professor. This is only an educated guess, of course, but if the Doctor's breaking his own rules, then I'm betting that this all has something to do with -
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PAGE SEVEN
Cut to the flight deck of the space cruiser Killwagon, where Mercurius is wrestling with the controls to put the ship into a spin to avoid three pursuing saucers.
MERCURIUS: Daleks!
Panel 2
We see from outside the ship, the scene as above.
Panel 3
From behind the crew mates (Abslom Daak - Dalek Killer, Vol Mercurius - gentleman thief and Haarma the Ice Warrior) their view of the asteroid belt ahead.
DAAK: Where the hell did they come from?
HAARMA: Did you know they were here? Waiting for usss? Iss thisss why you left Sssalander back on that planet?
Panel 4
The Killwagon dives into the asteroid belt, hotly pursued by the saucers.
MERCURIUS: I left Salander because he was dead, and no, I didn't know there was a Dalek fleet parked behind the nearest moon.
Panel 5
Straight on shot of the three of them.
DAAK: Turn us around! I've never run from a fight with the Daleks before, and I'm sure as hell not going to start now!
MERCURIUS: I appreciate the sentiment, but equally, I've never believed in gambling with my life unless the odds are distinctly in my favour.
HAARMA: And how ex-sssactly do you propossse to reverssse our fortunesss?
Panel 6
The Killwagon pulls up sharply and one of the Dalek saucers smashes into a huge asteroid.
Panel 7
Back in the ship.
MERCURIUS: Well, that'll do for a start.

Panel 1
Extreme close-up on the pupil of Draconian Prince Salander's eye.
Caption: The planet of the War King.
Caption 2: It takes him a while...
Panel 2
Pull back to show Salander's head and shoulders as he lies prone on the ground in the snow.
Caption: But it isn't long before Prince Salander realises...
Panel 3
A wider, full length shot.
Caption: He's been left for dead.
Panel 4
Low shot as he stands up and gazes up at the nearby Citadel.
Panel 5
Then he looks away to the bare trees of the forest behind him.
Panel 6
Extreme worm's eye view, as the Dalek fleet roars over his head.
Panel 7
He watches as the fleet heads for the Citadel.
Panel 8
Behind Salander, at the very edge of the forest, over Salander's left shoulder, the TARDIS lands with a trusty "Vworp vworp" (SFX). Salander does not notice at first, his first utterance preceding the police box's arrival.
SALANDER: Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse...
(SFX): VWORP! VWORP!
SALANDER: I know that sound!
Panel 9
The TARDIS door has opened and Fey Truscott-Sade stands there, hand outstretched.
FEY: Come with me if you want to live!

Panel 1
Caption: INTERLUDE – FEY’S STORY. [All Fey’s dialogue for pages 9 – 16 is in captions].
We see Fey approaching the robed figure of Merlin, who is stood at the edge of a high balcony, staring thoughtfully across space.
FEY (Caption): It was different this time…
MERLIN: It is time once again for you to aid the Doctor.
FEY (Caption): The Council of High Evolutionaries were afraid.
Panel 2
MONTAGE: We see Fey in front of a montage of the villains she mentions.
FEY (Caption): I’d heard the tales of Catavolcus, Melanicus, Astrolabus…
FEY (Caption): …of the Master, the Meep-Wrarth war and the Terrible Zodin…
FEY (Caption): …and we were wed in the last days of the Threshold…
FEY (Caption): …but this was the first time that I’d seen the council afraid.
Panel 3
Close-up on Merlin.
MERLIN: And you must save the universe… from him.
Panel 4
A shocked Fey, whilst around her the universe explodes.
FEY (Caption): At first I couldn’t believe it. But I came to understand.
FEY (Caption): The Council had forseen the final end of everything, the fire that would burn all of time and space, the inferno whose fury would annihilate all and every reality.
Panel 5
A silhouetted view of the Doctor hunched over the TARDIS console, itself in silhouette – i.e. don’t reveal the new console yet.
FEY (Caption): And of course it was him. The Doctor.
FEY (Caption): I still didn’t want to believe it, but when they told me the Daleks were involved, I knew it was true.
Panel 6
MONTAGE: The Doctor and the Daleks, including the 4th Doctor holding the wires from Genesis of the Daleks.
FEY (Caption): The Doctor and the Daleks. It seems you just can’t have the one without the other.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
PAGE TWELVE
Panel 1
The First Doctor in Time-Lord robes on Gallifrey.
FEY (Caption): It’s impossible to imagine who the Doctor would have been had he never met the Daleks.
Panel 2
The Dalek Empire.
FEY (Caption): And it’s undeniable that they have become stronger in fear of him…
FEY (Caption): …though I never thought he could become as bad as the monsters he fought.
Panel 3
Fey stood in the new TARDIS console room, with the 8th Doctor in his “new” (Dark Eyes) outfit.
FEY (Caption): The TARDIS was the first clue. Still bigger on the inside of course.
FEY (Caption): But he’d redecorated.
FEY (Caption): And I didn’t like it.
FEY (Caption): Despite its’ infinite dimensions, it suddenly felt claustrophobic.
Panel 4
The Doctor looking purposeful at the console.
FEY (Caption): And there he was, like a black hole at the centre of the console room.
FEY (Caption): He didn’t say much, but what little he did rang hollow, his voice cracked and raw.
Panel 5
We see the Doctor fixated on the scanner screen in the wall, where a sharp glass tower incongruously dwarfs a metallic alien city, and the Doctor’s fists clench.
FEY (Caption): For the first time… the Doctor scared me. And what he did next… terrified me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
PAGE THIRTEEN
Panel 1
The Doctor stalks away from the TARDIS, leaving Fey in the doorway.
FEY (Caption): The Doctor had somehow become elemental, ice and fire, cold fury.
Panel 2
The Doctor meets with the native Darbondians, who point to the Dalek saucers circling the glass tower.
FEY (Caption): The Daleks call him the destroyer of worlds, the oncoming storm.
FEY (Caption): I'd seen him run rings around them countless times.
Panel 3
The Doctor puts his hand on the shoulder of a weeping Darbondian.
FEY (Caption): He never told me exactly what happened. I knew he'd lost someone close, that much was obvious.
FEY (Caption): But it was more than that.
Panel 4
Daleks in hoverbouts, flanked by Ogron guards and Darbondian robo-men, sweep through the city, exterminating any resistance.
FEY (Caption): Death and the Daleks go hand in hand.
Panel 5
The Ogron guards look on while Darbondian robomen feed captured Figment creatures into the furnace-like brain of the golden Emperor Dalek.
FEY (Caption): Where the lost souls of Skaro go, life upon countless life is extinguished.
FEY (Caption): And the Doctor is no stranger to that.
Panel 6
We see the Doctor spying on the above scene through a scanner screen in the secret base of the Darbondian resistance.
FEY (Caption): But somehow it's more personal when it's them. And it's changed him.
FEY (Caption): Not forever, I hope.
FEY (Caption): I hope my friend returns to us soon.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PAGE FOURTEEN
Panel 1
The Doctor and the Darbondian resistance force move through trench-like channels across the burning city, towards the force-field surrounded Shard-like glass tower.
FEY (Caption): But it's too early to tell.
Panel 2
The group comes under attack from a squad of Daleks, and they cower in a ruined building, as the Special Weapons Dalek is wheeled out.
FEY (Caption): These are still fresh wounds.
Panel 3
The Doctor uses his Sonic Screwdriver to vibrate an overhanging girder...
FEY (Caption): Lord knows the Doctor is by no means perfect, and patience is one of those virtues he never quite got the hang of.
Panel 4
...and the girder crashes down, crushing the SWD.
FEY (Caption): After all, he's always rushed in where angels fear to tread, never giving a moment's care to looking a fool.
Panel 5
He leads the Darbondians to the foot of the tower, past the landed saucers.
FEY (Caption): But while a devil may care spirit of adventure can have a certain romantic je ne sais quoi...
Panel 6
As the Doctor makes it through the door, the Daleks gun down the Darbondians.
FEY (Caption): Such reckless destructiveness as burns behind his eyes now is simply terrifying.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PAGE FIFTEEN
Panel 1
The Doctor hides around a corner as an Ogron patrol passes down the corridor.
FEY (Caption): His plan, if it can be called that, is brutal in its simplicity.
Panel 2
The Doctor runs to an open door as the Ogrons head off.
Panel 3
The Doctor jams shut behind him a pair of doors behind him with the Sonic Screwdriver. A Hazard sign on the door reads: REACTOR ROOM.
FEY (Caption): None of the elegance or fastidiousness of his former self's plottings.
Panel 4
The Doctor looks down on the heart of the nuclear reactor.
FEY (Caption): This is all out attack.
Panel 5
Then he crouches down behind a control panel as a Dalek glides past and sabotages the reactor with his sonic screwdriver …
FEY (Caption): This is war.
Panel 6
…before dashing for a nearby lift entrance, grabbing a coil of cable as he goes.
FEY (Caption): He does not expect to lose…
CAPTION: 10…
Panel 7
Now we see him in the lift, making his escape, clenching his fist tightly around the length of cable, which he has now tied around his waist.
FEY (Caption): …but though he did not say so...
CAPTION: …9…8…
Panel 8
(From behind) The Doctor runs from the lift to the glass window.
CAPTION: …7…
Panel 9
The Doctor leaps straight through the window, the cable tied round his waist paying out - this shot should be something akin to the iconic cover of The Dark Knight Returns.
FEY (Caption): I know that he does not expect to survive this either.
CAPTION: …6…

Panel 2
The Doctor runs to the perimeter, followed by panic-stricken Ogrons and Darbodians.
CAPTION: …4…3…
Panel 3
The Doctor using the Sonic Screwdriver to raise the forcefield round the tower once again, even though there are Ogrons, Figments and freed Darbondians racing to escape, still behind him.
FEY (Caption): It's been said that a cosmos without the Doctor scarcely bears thinking about...
CAPTION: …2…
Panel 4
Bird’s Eye View of the forcefield raising around the tower.
CAPTION: …1…
Panel 5
The Ogrons etc. plead with the Doctor, trapped behind the forcefield barrier.
FEY (Caption): If he's throwing in the towel, it means he doesn't care what happens to the universe once he's gone.
CAPTION: …0…
Panel 6
The tower explodes and the Ogrons etc. just burn to their skeletons as the nuclear explosion fills the sphere of the forcefield.
Panel 7
The Doctor just stands and watches.
FEY (Caption): And if the Doctor's stopped caring...
Panel 8
A shocked looking Fey remonstrating with the Doctor, who simply walks past her back into the TARDIS.
FEY (Caption): If he's not there to give the monsters nightmares...
Panel 9
Long high wide shot of the TARDIS dematerialising, leaving Darbondia's smoking ruins, a gigantic crater where the Dalek shard once stood. The Darbondians weep for the high price that they've paid, unable to believe what the Doctor has done to achieve victory.
FEY (Caption): We're all doomed.
CAPTION: END OF INTERLUDE.

PAGE SEVENTEEN
Panel 1
Salander stares across the console at the Doctor.
SALANDER: You have changed your appearance.
THE DOCTOR: Yes.
SALANDER: Not just your appearance.
Panel 2
The Doctor glowers at him.
Panel 3
A wide shot of the console room.
FEY: A lot of things have changed. But some things never change.
SALANDER: The Daleks?
FEY: You know why they're here?
SALANDER: I assumed they'd followed us; come for Daak.
Panel 4
The Doctor is now beneath the console in a tangle of wires.
THE DOCTOR: No. That was the Supreme Dalek's ship; he's come directly from Skaro, which means that he set off long before you and your friends.
Panel 5
Close up of Salander's stony impression.
SALANDER: I'm not so sure they are my friends any more.
Panel 6
The Doctor is back at the console, fiddling with the controls for the scanner screen.
THE DOCTOR: If I can just access the Citadel's security camera network, we might be able to find out what they're up to.
Panel 7
Establishing shot of the Citadel.
Panel 8
High shot, showing the Supreme Dalek sweeping into the War King's throne room.
SUPREME: Report!
COMMANDER: Area secured, all resistance exterminated.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PAGE EIGHTEEN
Panel 1
Two shot of the Supreme Dalek and his Commander.
SUPREME: Satisfactory. Begin data extraction. Localise search parameters to include references to the Nexus and correlate with records of Demeter dynasties.
COMMANDER: I obey!
Panel 2
The Supreme glides over to the communications array.
SUPREME: Open channel to pursuit squadron Alpha.
DRONE: Channel open.
Panel 3
Long wide shot of the bridge of the Dalek saucer, the Supreme on screen.
SUPREME: Report status of enemy craft.
SAUCER CMDR: Enemy craft located and isolated in asteroid belt! Annihilation imminent!
Panel 4
Back in the Citadel, worm's eye view of the Supreme.
SUPREME: Satisfactory. Soon all enemies of the Daleks will be exterminated. First, Abslom Daak, and then... once the Nexus is in the power of the Daleks...
Panel 5
Back to the TARDIS console room, where the Supreme appears on the scanner screen.
SUPREME: ...the Time-Lords of Gallifrey will be exterminated!
THE DOCTOR: Ha! Not likely!
FEY: Are you so sure of that? If they find what they're looking for...
Panel 6
The Doctor begins to set co-ordinates on the console.
THE DOCTOR: Benny and Kroton are already in the tomb, and they'll be long gone with the map by the time the Daleks have even figured out where to look.
Panel 7
The Doctor makes to leave the console room, heading into the corridor.
SALANDER: And what of Daak and the others? Will you help them?
THE DOCTOR (smiles wryly): Daak doesn't need my help. You heard what the Daleks said...
Panel 8
The Killwagon is chased into a hollow asteroid by the two remaining Dalek saucers.
THE DOCTOR (Caption): "He's got them right where he wants them!"
SAUCER CMDR: Daak is trapped! Lock missiles!

Panel 4
Daak and co.
DAAK: Now!
Panel 5
...and as the asteroid explodes, the Killwagon roars out...
Panel 6
...and rams one saucer into the other.
Panel 7
The bridge of the Dalek saucer.
SAUCER CMDR: Emergency! Emergency! Crash landing imminent!
Panel 8
One saucer spirals towards a nearby planet, while the other breaks apart. The Killwagon is also stricken, and goes into a nose dive.
Panel 9
The flight deck of the Killwagon.
MERCURIUS: Great plan, Daak, now what?
DAAK: You're the pilot. Get us down in one piece so we can finish off any survivors.
HAARMA: I thought you wanted to interrogate the Sssaucer Commander?
DAAK: I'm gonna rip their battle plans out of its mutated brain box, if that's what you mean...
Panel 10
Extreme worm's eye view from the ground, as the Dalek saucer looms large in the sky, the Killwagon not so far behind it...

Panel 1
We are back in the tomb on Huntress IV. From the P.O.V. of an ornate sarcophagus, a circular stone door is rolled away, revealing Benny and Kroton.
Caption: Meanwhile, in the inner sanctum of the Empress' tomb...
Panel 2
Benny and Kroton examine the sarcophagus by torchlight.
BENNY: This is it. This is what we came for. The map.
Panel 3
Kroton gets a closer look.
KROTON: Wowsers! She is a beauty!
BENNY: Down boy. Don't be fooled by the vast, vast, vast riches that she's got...
Panel 4
Benny holds a magnifying scanner to the inscriptions around the edges of the Sarcophagus and snaps a few shots.
BENNY: Always read the small print.
Panel 5
She puts away the scanner and shares a look with Kroton as dust starts to shake from the ceiling, and Kroton glances upwards as an ominous rumbling begins.
Panel 6
They start to run away.
BENNY: I've got what we need. It's scarpering time!
KROTON: Leg it!

BENNY: Are you sure you can make it?
KROTON: Nope.
Panel 4
Kroton leaps...

Benny is able to scramble up...
Panel 7

They both run in the direction of a literal light at the end of the tunnel.
Panel 2
Outside the Pyramid, Benny is doubled up, hands on her knees, struggling to get her breath back after their mad dash. Kroton has ground to a halt, having seen something she hasn't.
BENNY: We made it!
KROTON: Well, sort of. Don't look now, but...
Panel 3
Massive wide shot, showing that the pyramid has been struck by the wreckage of the Dalek saucer, and they are surrounded by the Daleks spilling out of it.
BENNY: Daleks!
KROTON (quietly): I told you not to look.
